Could be my favorite of the many Crais novels I’ve read. I was totally engrossed in this story

Love this author; don’t know how I missed this when it came out originally! Finished it in under 2 days and did not want it to end....going on a search now to see if Maggie appears again...🤓👏👏👏👏

I enjoy Elvis Cole and Joe Pike books. This book clearly shows it’s an Elvis Cole and Joe Pike book, BUT, it’s not. Okay book about a guy and his police dog, but that’s not the point. The point is, I didn’t buy a book about a dog, but that’s what I got. Buyer beware on this false advertising! And, because of this deception, I’ll. Never buy another Robert Craise book again. Asta la vista!

I loved this book. I've read it twice because I've now read all of Robert Crasis' books. Anxious for the next one. You do not have to be a dog lover to enjoy Maggie. All of your books are 5 stars and Cole and Pike are fantastic! Great work!

Robert Crais can do no wrong. Scott James and Maggie are fine additions to Crais' family of characters.

Read this in 2 days. I am a fan of Robert Crais, and as an owner of a rescue dog with PTSD, this book touched my heart. Wonderful book!

Absolutely the best book by Robert. I am a big, big fan of all his Cole books. But I too am a dog man and this was very well done. Believe it or not, I didn't want it to end. Please encourage him to write another Scott and Maggie book. Bob

Good read on a cold Winter day, plot is well thought out, and the facts are well researched. I had a hard time relating with the main character, but the chapters that addressed the dogs thoughts are outstanding
