Was nice to read a good book again

As always never a dissappointment

James Patterson’s latest Alex Cross novel is all over the place. The story line jumped around so much, I found it difficult to follow. The story was complicated, convoluted, and confusing. Patterson wraps the multiple story lines toward the end but I was left feeling that the ending was rushed and not up to Patterson’s caliber of writing. I’ve read every Alex Cross novel. This one was not my favorite.

This was my first James Patterson book. I loved it. A real page turner.

I Love all of the Alex Cross stories but the last couple books have had disappointing endings. This one as well. The story goes along, interesting and has my attention and then as the ending comes, it seems like it’s hurriedly done. Has James got too much on his plate these days to finish his story as it started, strong??? The ending was flat and I was disappointed but still a huge fan!

Could not put it down as always.
